I read this book because its cover is really attractive, and it took me 3 weeks intermittently when I finished it. It’s a novel writen by Irvin. Yalom about the conversation between two greatest man: Josef Breuer in psychoanalysis and Friedrich Nietzsche in philosopher. They are both doctor and patient, and they found their own illness by each other. They analyze the natrue of person deeply, here is some words I like:
If we climb high enough, we will reach a height from which tragedy ceases to look tragic.
Life is a spark between two identical voids, the darkness before birth and the one after death.
It is easier, far easier, to obey another than to command oneself.
