I watched The Matrix again recently, and I finally know what the author want to present. I watched this movie first time when I was 15, and it’s been 20 years, and something changed a lot. I could only see the guns, action and love in movie at first, but now I think the reason and the whole picture more. In the movie, there are at least two world, one is Matrix, and the other is the reality. In reality, machines won the world from human, and most human are put in pods as the battery to supply the energy to machines, and the human in pods thought themself are live in 90s, but in fact just in a Matrix that is controlled by the machines. Of course, the world should always have the last human city Zion fighting with the machines, and the human in Zion are saving the human in pods from time to time.
The Matrix remind me that in nowadays, most people live in the internet, and the internet need the data and traffic to grow its power. And the meaningful traffic and data could only be produced by human, so the internet created lots of apps/webs to attract the attension of human. Ironilly, the human in nowadays just like the world created by internet as Matrix, and spend most of their time in it. I hope there is another Zion or Neo to save us from that.
